A thought I had......and it's my birthday!!!!

Why isn't there a stay-at-home parents union? I for one would appreciate some effort on this front! In my unionized world, no SAHP would have to clean a diaper, feed a child, bath a child, check the latest lead-based paint recall or anything related to any child that they cared for during there "work" week. This "work" week would consist of 5 days (with a mandatory nap time that could be used for shooting heroin or any other activity that you can't do under the watchful/ever learning eye of children) The remaining two days of the week would be termed "mental well-being" days where the SAHP would be required to do two of the following: a night of binge drinking, shopping, dinner and a movie, spa treatments with or without a happy ending (depending on your living arrangement), sporting events, conversations with other grown beings (not necessarily human or real), screaming and/or hitting things and finally, sleeping until 10am(this would be mandatory).


I'm sure the concept would hit a large snag when it came to membership dues. But it's my birthday, let a SAHP share his dream with you!!!
