Playtime at the Degermans

We spent so much time getting the bed constructed that we all fell asleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed last night. I woke up with a little boy clinging to my back. We had a great morning. Dylan had pancakes, mommy had cereal and daddy ate some toast. All was washed down with coffee and juice.

Watched Elmo and packed a picnic to have for lunch.

Cheese snack.

Stopped by the Degerman's (James, Jodi, Sam, and Sawyer) for some playtime. We had a blast! First we played with Moose (a 1.5 year old boxer) who's too excited for his own good! Since Sawyer was taking a nap, we decided to stay and play at their house which is alot like a playground. (They have swings so that's really all you need for Dylan)

First we started with Cars. They have an electric powered car, a foot powered truck, and a tricycle. Dylan's favorite was, of course, the electric car. (Isn't there a documentary called who killed the electric car? Anyway, don't bring it up to Dylan)

Next we went onto the deck and played with Tractors and trucks (this is some sort of kid utopia). Then down the stairs to a huge backyard and a swing/slide set. We played on the Wee (swing) for quite a while. Sam and Dylan attempted to bury a firetruck in the sandbox but many of the shovel fulls ended up in the grass. (Sorry James)

We went back inside for some Choo, Choo activity time and a drink of water.

Sam decided we should blow bubbles. I'm not sure what Dylan liked better blowing bubbles or tasting the soap. Of course we headed back for more swinging.

Lunchtime. Sawyer woke up from her nap and joined us for lunch. Smorgasbord of fun: MacNcheese, grapes, melon, carrots, crackers, chips, con queso, and water.

Finally before we left there was time to play some ball. One last trip on the electric car and we headed home for a nap.
