Papa's Birthday

Monday, January 12, 2009

Does this hurt when I do this?

Do I have to play with my big brother?

This tastes good.

This is what funlooks like.
He asked to be tickled.

Happy 60th Mamajo! Gotcha!

The elevator door opened. The pitch rang out. And Happy Birthday was sung. Tears welled up. It was perfect.

A special thanks to the Yahara River Chorus for performing and keeping the event's true nature a secret.

More pics if you would share.

JJ's Birthday

Texas Roadhouse makes you ride a saddle when it's your birthday. JJ was very happy and not the least bit embarrassed. It's a good thing Dylan volunteered to ride the saddle with her.

X-mas eve at Mamajo and Papa's

If you didn't know better, you'd think we weren't happy. But I assure you, the sour look on our faces doens't properly capture the merriment of the evening.

Running Errands and Eating Guests

Busy day. Too busy. So busy, in fact, I don't really remember what we did. Well, let's see....grocery delivery for Tina, drive to Mamajo's, have lunch with grandpa/grandma, drive mamajo to Dr Appt,(Dylan took a nap in the car while I read/stared into space and thought about my place in this thing called life) get Mommy, went home, got chinese take out, mamajo and papa ate dinner with us, and it's now 8pm and I feel like someone punched me in the nuts, sucked the contents of the brain out my ear with a toilet plunger, and keeps telling me to get up and fly right. What that hell does that mean? It means....amongst other things, keep on keeping on, put a good face on it, keep putting one foot in front of the other, make it look like you know what you're doing until you find your bed and plunge into sleep or pass out.

Playing our new favorite activity, Elmo puzzle.

Mommy made new ball jammies. Dylan said that these were "alot of fun". Mommy did storytime today because I was passed out on the stairs, I didn't even make it to the bed.

X-mas at the Mamajo & Papa's

We spent Christmas Eve with my parents in Deforest. We had a very good time.

Dylan is explaining the fox movie to Papa
What a happy little boy. And mommy.

Auntie JJ, made a fantastic mint/mousse/chocolate tart dessert. It was awesome!

Sitting down to dinner. Meatloaf, baked potatoes, and carrots. Nummy!

Opening up presents!

A stainless cookware set like daddy.

I just couldn't resist buying a goofy costume for Dolby

Of course I know what I'm doing with this comb.

The Little Gym/Lunch with Brian and Ted

I'm going to apologize in advance for all the pictures. I got a new camera last night and it's got alot of features to play with.

We went to our second class at the Little Gym. Dylan is a Beastie which means he can still have an adult with him but is very willing to leave me behind and really doesn't want my help.

Brian made a tasty lunch while Dylan and Ted played/made a mess of his house.

Headed outdoors for some swinging, but realized it was too damned cold.

We headed to Papa and Mamajo's house for the afternoon. Dylan fell asleep in the car while I connected a new DSL line for Internet and CD player to their stereo.

Mamajo is trying to get the last account number and password so I can finish the DSL set-up. Customer service never really listens to you. Boy, that would make it too easy.

Crapped out his futon at Papa and Mamajo's house.

Hanging with Mommy before the Tupperware Party.
