We love and hate fridays.

Open gym has taken over as our favorite activity, from 10 til 12 every friday(and sometimes Monday or Wednesday) we run some steam off at the Warner Park open gym. Dylan has made a new friend Lucy(not of Jeremy and Allison), she's older and follows us around like a puppy giggling and screaming the whole way.

Walking to open gym. Yes, it's icy and Dylan fell 5 times. The last one was the worst and required a ride the rest of the way.

Look Daddy! A lellow bus!!

We hate Friday's cuz Mommy is usually tired and ornery. But we don't blame her, becuase she's carrying baby2 around in her belly. And today, the belly wasn't happy!

Ever since going to open gym, Dylan has gotten good on his tricycle.

Come on baby 2! Kick!!

Doing puzzles at the speed of a toddler is very, very hard. Just flip it and it will fit!!!!

Running Errands and Eating Guests

Busy day. Too busy. So busy, in fact, I don't really remember what we did. Well, let's see....grocery delivery for Tina, drive to Mamajo's, have lunch with grandpa/grandma, drive mamajo to Dr Appt,(Dylan took a nap in the car while I read/stared into space and thought about my place in this thing called life) get Mommy, went home, got chinese take out, mamajo and papa ate dinner with us, and it's now 8pm and I feel like someone punched me in the nuts, sucked the contents of the brain out my ear with a toilet plunger, and keeps telling me to get up and fly right. What that hell does that mean? It means....amongst other things, keep on keeping on, put a good face on it, keep putting one foot in front of the other, make it look like you know what you're doing until you find your bed and plunge into sleep or pass out.

Playing our new favorite activity, Elmo puzzle.

Mommy made new ball jammies. Dylan said that these were "alot of fun". Mommy did storytime today because I was passed out on the stairs, I didn't even make it to the bed.

Red, Red Robin....

We had a great day today. Watched Superwhy and Elmo. Sang some new songs with DJ - Beer Barrel Polka and Red, Red Robin and clapped hands and cheered loudly after we got done. Played outside, watched a bobcat move snow and cooked lunch for JJ, all before afternoon nap.

Just walking in this stuff is hard.
First frame of Dylan trying to kick a ball, falling, and realizing that I'm taking his picture.

Frame 2, foot came down on the ball and Dylan fell on his face.

Frame 3, WTF?

OOOOOOOOOO, a tractor moving snow.....we watched this for 20 minutes.

Making some soup, first we melted the butter and added the onions. Dylan sprinked in the pepper and salt while I cut up the celery. Dylan added the celery, pepper and salt and stirred the celery.

I'm cutting up the carrots and getting the chicken broth ready.

We added the carrots, pepper and salt. Then added the wild rice, and poured in the chicken stock. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Now it's time to make the grilled cheese, mushroom and basil sandwiches.

Auntie JJ arrives just in time to play puzzles. Are you seeing a theme here? This kid loves puzzles, songs, and the alphabet. And did I mention balls? Currently, sleeping with his football and Elmo.

Merry Christmas!

Baby likes to play with the balloon.

We'll be keeping a close eye on Dylan and baby 2. Anybody want a small UW badger helmet? Dylan tries to put it on his own head and I can only imagine what he will do when he sees that Baby 2's head is the right size.

You're really gonna take my picture?
Or....Happy Valentine's Day, Santa Claus. I took this picture today, for the official record.

Auntie JJ!

Since the weather was so crappy, and her chorus rehearsal was cancelled, she came over and played football(c-ball) and puzzles with Dylan. He had a blast and I got a bit of a break.
