Red, Red Robin....

We had a great day today. Watched Superwhy and Elmo. Sang some new songs with DJ - Beer Barrel Polka and Red, Red Robin and clapped hands and cheered loudly after we got done. Played outside, watched a bobcat move snow and cooked lunch for JJ, all before afternoon nap.

Just walking in this stuff is hard.
First frame of Dylan trying to kick a ball, falling, and realizing that I'm taking his picture.

Frame 2, foot came down on the ball and Dylan fell on his face.

Frame 3, WTF?

OOOOOOOOOO, a tractor moving snow.....we watched this for 20 minutes.

Making some soup, first we melted the butter and added the onions. Dylan sprinked in the pepper and salt while I cut up the celery. Dylan added the celery, pepper and salt and stirred the celery.

I'm cutting up the carrots and getting the chicken broth ready.

We added the carrots, pepper and salt. Then added the wild rice, and poured in the chicken stock. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Now it's time to make the grilled cheese, mushroom and basil sandwiches.

Auntie JJ arrives just in time to play puzzles. Are you seeing a theme here? This kid loves puzzles, songs, and the alphabet. And did I mention balls? Currently, sleeping with his football and Elmo.

Play with kids

Tricia, Dylan and I drove into our parking spot tonight and Dylan shouted, "Yeah, me a play with kids!"

So, Dylan and I played outside tonight. We played football and slid down the big pile of snow by our condo. He loved it!!! I did too. Our neighbors Letz and Amy have five children and Dylan loves to play with them.

Dylan and I possing for a picture. There's Josiah's head (He's #3) Hanna, Josh, Josiah, Isiah, and damn it(!), I forgot the littlest one.

Trying to throw a snowball
This way I won't get lost...I'll just follow my tracks. (famous last works)

What you can't tell is...he's moving away from you. Nanna taught him how to shovel.

The cute picture you were looking for.

Shoveling the Road to Garbage...

the last bit of work/lifting of the pregnancy. At least that's what I was told after I took the pictures....so, we I better make them count!

This picture is what happens when you try and make a face at the camera and get a bunch of snow in your mouth.

Nice lifting technique!

Not so nice lifting technique. (That's gonna hurt in the morning.)

Now there's a path that can be managed with slippers on!
