Tuesday with Lois

Oh the fun you can have at Madison's Children Museum...

there's a look that parents develop. It's a place where exhaustion and lack of sleep meet and leave you staring blankly nothing. (the pregnant lady in the red is exhibit A)

Here Dylan is trying to cook and Lois is attempting to haul as much stuff as possible.

Lois and the Zoo

Starts with a usual morning, french toast for Dylan and the normal struggle to convince him that Elmo needs the Pacifier (or PoPo) more than he does.

Down to watch Elmo. You know Elmo!

Off to the Zoo to meet Lois and Tanya. We had a great time with Tanya, Lois, and Brita at the zoo. Most of the time was spent eating and running/walking/crawling around. Dylan played/moved near Lois(pictured trying to pick her up), ate dried cherries, used cauliflower as a spoon for dressing, and demanded a granola bar but refused to eat it. Brita did a fantastic job of painting Tanya with Bananas and an even better job of putting spaghetti sauce on herself. Lois tried some cauliflower and was on the move constantly but luckily she doesn't run. YET. (What the hell did I get myself into!) Tanya or Bill - if you're reading this, Lois will be fine, I'm just being funny. I have the utmost confidence in myself. Dylan's still alive, isn't he?

Tanya, Brita(on her lap) and Lois.

Shortly after lunch was done Tanya, Brita, and Lois left. Dylan and I went to swing or WEE at the playground before we left. Ran into Jeremy and Lois. Lois will be walking in no time.(She's walking now but soon she'll be walking in shoes. She's in training)

Dylan fell asleep in the car on the way home, 1230.

Up for the afternoon at 2 so he had a snack while I fixed our dinner of green bean salad and salmon spread.

Went of to buy daddy a weekly planner for his wegoshop business. (I have weeks that are really busy and I'll need it but most weeks it keeps our play dates organized.)

Got Mommy from work, had dinner and followed mommy to her board mtg. We played at the toddler park for 1.5hours and we were visited by Papa and Dolby. Dylan also got to see an injured Monarch Butterfly that had been grounded by a overprotective little girl.

Back home for a bubble and bedtime.

Daddy began the new Harry Potter Book.
