Our Friend Lorie is a
Lefsa Chef. She knows everything about
Lefsa, especially the perfect amount of wine to consume while making it.
She
purposely had too much wine(judging by the smile) so my
lefsa would look better than hers.
Pay close attention to my skill, Lorie tells me I'm quite gifted. I'm not sure this will translate into a career. At the very least I can attempt to hang with the ladies who make the church
lefsa(the goal for all who make
lefsa, to mentioned in the same breath as a church
lefsa lady)...before I try that I'll have to learn the name of the stick-thingy that I'm using in this picture.
Looks good enough to eat, but unfortunately its too hot! You cook the lefsa at a ridiculously high temperature with a special pan. Anyway, we had fun and that's what counts.
